CURATOR'S NOTE
Rather than treating the G3SG1 as one continuous canvas, Chronos uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Black feels intentional, supported by Grey and Blue. On the G3SG1, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
LEAD COLOUR
On the G3SG1, the receiver carries most of the Black; in Chronos, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
PATTERN CONTROL
Across the scope and upper line, Chronos uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this G3SG1, that break gives the surface composition enough rhythm to stay legible.
STRUCTURAL FINISH
At the stock and magazine, Chronos becomes quieter. Blue and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the G3SG1's functional geometry.
