CURATOR'S NOTE

What gives Chromatic Aberration its character is the way technical colour treatment follows the geometry of the Galil AR. Black carries the first read, then Grey adds enough contrast to keep the silhouette precise. On the Galil AR, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

PRIMARY FIELD

On the Galil AR, the receiver and handguard carries most of the Black; in Chromatic Aberration, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

COLOUR BREAK

Across the stock, Chromatic Aberration uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this Galil AR, that break gives the technical colour treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.

MATERIAL EDGE

At the magazine and lower line, Chromatic Aberration becomes quieter. Pink and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Galil AR's functional geometry.
