Groundwater reads immediately because the palette is organised rather than scattered. Grey takes the visual lead; Green anchors it; White supplies the smaller counterpoint that makes the finish memorable. On the Glock-18, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

On the Glock-18, the slide carries most of the Grey; in Groundwater, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
