CURATOR'S NOTE

Marble Fade is built around a clear visual hierarchy: Red leads, Blue structures the finish, and Yellow keeps the composition from collapsing into a single block of colour. On the Navaja Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
LEAD COLOUR
On the Navaja Knife, the blade face carries most of the Red; in Marble Fade, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
PATTERN CONTROL
Across the spine and tip, Marble Fade uses Blue to interrupt the main field. On this Navaja Knife, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
STRUCTURAL FINISH
At the handle transition, Marble Fade becomes quieter. Yellow and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Navaja Knife's functional geometry.
