CURATOR'S NOTE
What gives Doppler (Phase 3) its character is the way colour-shifting surface treatment follows the geometry of the Karambit. Blue carries the first read, then Black adds enough contrast to keep the silhouette precise. On the Karambit, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

PRIMARY FIELD
On the Karambit, the main body carries most of the Blue; in Doppler (Phase 3), this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
COLOUR BREAK
Across the secondary panels, Doppler (Phase 3) uses Black to interrupt the main field. On this Karambit, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
MATERIAL EDGE
At the grip and hardware, Doppler (Phase 3) becomes quieter. Purple and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Karambit's functional geometry.
