CURATOR'S NOTE

Rather than treating the Karambit as one continuous canvas, Freehand uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Purple feels intentional, supported by White and Black. On the Karambit, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
LEAD COLOUR
On the Karambit, the main body carries most of the Purple; in Freehand, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
PATTERN CONTROL
Across the secondary panels, Freehand uses White to interrupt the main field. On this Karambit, that break gives the graphic pattern enough rhythm to stay legible.
STRUCTURAL FINISH
At the grip and hardware, Freehand becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Karambit's functional geometry.
