CURATOR'S NOTE
Crimson Web gives the ★ M9 Bayonet a clear identity without needing every section to compete for attention. Its web-like linework is carried by Red, then tempered by Black so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. Nothing needs to be exaggerated; the palette and surface treatment already create a strong visual signature.

VISUAL ANCHOR
Across the blade face, Crimson Web concentrates most of the Red. This is where the web-like linework reads most clearly and where the ★ M9 Bayonet gains its first visual anchor.
COLOUR TRANSITION
The spine and cutting edge introduce Black as a counterweight. On Crimson Web, that shift prevents Red from flattening the design and gives the paint over dark substrate a more deliberate rhythm. On this ★ M9 Bayonet, that role is specific to Crimson Web.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
