CURATOR'S NOTE
Case Hardened changes the character of the ★ Huntsman Knife by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. Its heat-treated colour mottling is carried by Blue, then tempered by Gold so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

VISUAL ANCHOR
Across the blade face, Case Hardened concentrates most of the Blue. This is where the heat-treated colour mottling reads most clearly and where the ★ Huntsman Knife gains its first visual anchor.
COLOUR TRANSITION
Moving into the spine and cutting edge, Gold interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Case Hardened readable on the ★ Huntsman Knife.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
Near the handle and pommel, the finish steps back. Brown becomes the final accent, allowing the ★ Huntsman Knife's physical construction to close the composition.
