Scorched is strongest when you read it as a composition rather than a colour sample. Here, Black supplies the visual weight and Grey gives the surface enough structure for the surface-specific graphic treatment to stay legible. Nothing needs to be exaggerated; the palette and surface treatment already create a strong visual signature.

The blade face carry the strongest Black passage in Scorched. On the ★ Huntsman Knife, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
COLOUR TRANSITION
Moving into the spine and cutting edge, Grey interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Scorched readable on the ★ Huntsman Knife.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
