CURATOR'S NOTE

On the ★ Ursus Knife, Urban Masked works through hierarchy: one visual idea leads, the rest supports it. Its masked grey geometry is carried by Grey, then tempered by White so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. Nothing needs to be exaggerated; the palette and surface treatment already create a strong visual signature.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

PRIMARY FIELD

The blade face carry the strongest Grey passage in Urban Masked. On the ★ Ursus Knife, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.

SECONDARY RHYTHM

The spine and cutting edge introduce White as a counterweight. On Urban Masked, that shift prevents Grey from flattening the design and gives the matte urban coating a more deliberate rhythm. On this ★ Ursus Knife, that role is specific to Urban Masked.

MATERIAL BREAK

At the handle and pommel, Black and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this ★ Ursus Knife, that role is specific to Urban Masked.
