CURATOR'S NOTE

Hellish is strongest when you read it as a composition rather than a colour sample. The key is the tension between Gold and Orange: one attracts the eye, the other gives the layered painted surface room to register. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
COLOUR MASS
Gold is most assertive on the receiver and handguard, turning that section into the visual anchor of Hellish. The high-energy illustrative treatment is easiest to understand here.
SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS
Moving into the stock and magazine, Orange interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Hellish readable on the M4A4.
SILHOUETTE EDGE
Near the barrel assembly and exposed hardware, the finish steps back. Red becomes the final accent, allowing the M4A4's physical construction to close the composition. On this M4A4, that role is specific to Hellish.
