CURATOR'S NOTE
The appeal of Skulls comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the MP7. Rather than spreading every colour evenly, the finish lets Black dominate and uses Brown to articulate the MP7's major breaks. The result feels balanced and deliberate: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
SURFACE FOCUS
Black is most assertive on the receiver body, turning that section into the visual anchor of Skulls. The surface-specific graphic treatment is easiest to understand here.
STRUCTURAL BREAK
The foregrip and magazine introduce Brown as a counterweight. On Skulls, that shift prevents Black from flattening the design and gives the painted and material contrast a more deliberate rhythm.
FINAL ACCENT
Near the stock, barrel and controls, the finish steps back. Grey becomes the final accent, allowing the MP7's physical construction to close the composition. On this MP7, that role is specific to Skulls.
