On the MP7, Short Ochre works through hierarchy: one visual idea leads, the rest supports it. Here, Beige supplies the visual weight and Brown gives the surface enough structure for the surface-specific graphic treatment to stay legible. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

COLOUR MASS

The receiver body carry the strongest Beige passage in Short Ochre. On the MP7, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.

SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS

Moving into the foregrip and magazine, Brown interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Short Ochre readable on the MP7.

SILHOUETTE EDGE

At the stock, barrel and controls, Gold and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them.
