What gives Highwayman its character is the way the finish changes the proportions of the Sawed-Off. Most of the visual weight sits in Black, with Brown acting as the counterpoint. That balance is what makes the graphic surface treatment feel specific to this version of the Sawed-Off.

Across the front assembly, Black establishes the strongest read of Highwayman. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the Sawed-Off gains its visual anchor.
SECONDARY LAYER
The central body introduces Brown as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Black, it separates forms and gives Highwayman a clearer rhythm on the Sawed-Off.
EDGE DETAIL
At the rear section, Forest acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Highwayman from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
