CURATOR'S NOTE
The SSG 08 gives Detour enough surface variation to turn a simple palette into a real composition. The composition is anchored by Black, then broken by Forest; that contrast gives the graphic surface treatment enough depth to stay readable without becoming noisy.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
MAIN FIELD
Across the front assembly, Black establishes the strongest read of Detour. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the SSG 08 gains its visual anchor.
MID-TONE LINK
The central body introduces Forest as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Black, it separates forms and gives Detour a clearer rhythm on the SSG 08.
CLOSING DETAIL
At the rear section, White acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Detour from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
