CURATOR'S NOTE
The XM1014 gives Halftone Shift enough surface variation to turn a simple palette into a real composition. Its palette moves from Grey into Brown instead of treating the whole body as one uninterrupted field. That pacing gives the repeating geometric structure a cleaner, more curated finish.

MAIN FIELD
Across the front assembly, Grey establishes the strongest read of Halftone Shift. This is where the repeating geometric structure feels most concentrated and where the XM1014 gains its visual anchor.
MID-TONE LINK
The central body introduces Brown as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Grey, it separates forms and gives Halftone Shift a clearer rhythm on the XM1014.
CLOSING DETAIL
At the rear section, Black acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Halftone Shift from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
