CURATOR'S NOTE

Autotronic is built around a clear visual hierarchy: Red leads, Grey structures the finish, and Black keeps the composition from collapsing into a single block of colour. On the Butterfly Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

SURFACE FLOW

On the Butterfly Knife, the blade face carries most of the Red; in Autotronic, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

CONTRAST ZONE

Across the spine and tip, Autotronic uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this Butterfly Knife, that break gives the surface composition enough rhythm to stay legible.

EDGE DEFINITION

At the handle transition, Autotronic becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Butterfly Knife's functional geometry.
