CURATOR'S NOTE

Doppler (Phase 1) is built around a clear visual hierarchy: Purple leads, Pink structures the finish, and Black keeps the composition from collapsing into a single block of colour. On the Falchion Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

LEAD COLOUR

On the Falchion Knife, the blade face carries most of the Purple; in Doppler (Phase 1), this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

PATTERN CONTROL

Across the spine and tip, Doppler (Phase 1) uses Pink to interrupt the main field. On this Falchion Knife, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.

STRUCTURAL FINISH

At the handle transition, Doppler (Phase 1) becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Falchion Knife's functional geometry.
