CURATOR'S NOTE

Rather than treating the Flip Knife as one continuous canvas, Boreal Forest uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Green feels intentional, supported by Grey and Black. On the Flip Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

PRIMARY FIELD

On the Flip Knife, the blade face carries most of the Green; in Boreal Forest, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

COLOUR BREAK

Across the spine and tip, Boreal Forest uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this Flip Knife, that break gives the layered camouflage enough rhythm to stay legible.

MATERIAL EDGE

At the handle transition, Boreal Forest becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Flip Knife's functional geometry.
