CURATOR'S NOTE
The strength of Doppler (Phase 2) comes from restraint as much as colour. Pink establishes the identity, while Purple and Black control the edges and negative space. On the Flip Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
MAIN GESTURE
On the Flip Knife, the blade face carries most of the Pink; in Doppler (Phase 2), this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
QUIETER SUPPORT
Across the spine and tip, Doppler (Phase 2) uses Purple to interrupt the main field. On this Flip Knife, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
FINAL ACCENT
At the handle transition, Doppler (Phase 2) becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Flip Knife's functional geometry.
