CURATOR'S NOTE

Rather than treating the Flip Knife as one continuous canvas, Ultraviolet uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Purple feels intentional, supported by Black and the darker structural parts. On the Flip Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
MAIN GESTURE
On the Flip Knife, the blade face carries most of the Purple; in Ultraviolet, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
QUIETER SUPPORT
Across the spine and tip, Ultraviolet uses Black to interrupt the main field. On this Flip Knife, that break gives the surface composition enough rhythm to stay legible.
FINAL ACCENT
At the handle transition, Ultraviolet becomes quieter. the darker structural parts and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Flip Knife's functional geometry.
