CURATOR'S NOTE

Freehand changes the character of the ★ Huntsman Knife by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. Its hand-drawn white linework is carried by Purple, then tempered by White so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
SURFACE FOCUS
The blade face carry the strongest Purple passage in Freehand. On the ★ Huntsman Knife, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
STRUCTURAL BREAK
The spine and cutting edge introduce White as a counterweight. On Freehand, that shift prevents Purple from flattening the design and gives the painted graphic surface a more deliberate rhythm. On this ★ Huntsman Knife, that role is specific to Freehand.
FINAL ACCENT
Near the handle and pommel, the finish steps back. Black becomes the final accent, allowing the ★ Huntsman Knife's physical construction to close the composition. On this ★ Huntsman Knife, that role is specific to Freehand.
