CURATOR'S NOTE
Rather than treating the M9 Bayonet as one continuous canvas, Doppler (Phase 3) uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Blue feels intentional, supported by Black and Purple. On the M9 Bayonet, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
MAIN GESTURE
On the M9 Bayonet, the main body carries most of the Blue; in Doppler (Phase 3), this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
QUIETER SUPPORT
Across the secondary panels, Doppler (Phase 3) uses Black to interrupt the main field. On this M9 Bayonet, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
FINAL ACCENT
At the grip and hardware, Doppler (Phase 3) becomes quieter. Purple and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the M9 Bayonet's functional geometry.
