CURATOR'S NOTE
Doppler (Sapphire) is built around a clear visual hierarchy: Blue leads, Black structures the finish, and the darker structural parts keeps the composition from collapsing into a single block of colour. On the M9 Bayonet, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
On the M9 Bayonet, the main body carries most of the Blue; in Doppler (Sapphire), this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
COLOUR BREAK
Across the secondary panels, Doppler (Sapphire) uses Black to interrupt the main field. On this M9 Bayonet, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
MATERIAL EDGE
At the grip and hardware, Doppler (Sapphire) becomes quieter. the darker structural parts and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the M9 Bayonet's functional geometry.
