CURATOR'S NOTE
Rather than treating the M9 Bayonet as one continuous canvas, Fade uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Pink feels intentional, supported by Purple and Yellow. On the M9 Bayonet, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

VISUAL ANCHOR
On the M9 Bayonet, the main body carries most of the Pink; in Fade, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Across the secondary panels, Fade uses Purple to interrupt the main field. On this M9 Bayonet, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
At the grip and hardware, Fade becomes quieter. Yellow and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the M9 Bayonet's functional geometry.
