Scorched gives the ★ M9 Bayonet a clear identity without needing every section to compete for attention. The Black passages establish the first read, while Grey controls the separation between sections; the surface-specific graphic treatment provides the identity. Nothing needs to be exaggerated; the palette and surface treatment already create a strong visual signature.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

PRIMARY FIELD

Black is most assertive on the blade face, turning that section into the visual anchor of Scorched. The surface-specific graphic treatment is easiest to understand here. On this ★ M9 Bayonet, that role is specific to Scorched.

SECONDARY RHYTHM

The spine and cutting edge introduce Grey as a counterweight. On Scorched, that shift prevents Black from flattening the design and gives the painted and material contrast a more deliberate rhythm. On this ★ M9 Bayonet, that role is specific to Scorched.

MATERIAL BREAK

Near the handle and pommel, the finish steps back. Brown becomes the final accent, allowing the ★ M9 Bayonet's physical construction to close the composition.
