CURATOR'S NOTE
What gives Doppler (Phase 1) its character is the way colour-shifting surface treatment follows the geometry of the Navaja Knife. Purple carries the first read, then Pink adds enough contrast to keep the silhouette precise. On the Navaja Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

MAIN GESTURE
On the Navaja Knife, the blade face carries most of the Purple; in Doppler (Phase 1), this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
QUIETER SUPPORT
Across the spine and tip, Doppler (Phase 1) uses Pink to interrupt the main field. On this Navaja Knife, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
FINAL ACCENT
At the handle transition, Doppler (Phase 1) becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Navaja Knife's functional geometry.
