Doppler (Black Pearl) is strongest when you read it as a composition rather than a colour sample. Rather than spreading every colour evenly, the finish lets Purple dominate and uses Black to articulate the ★ Skeleton Knife's major breaks. That balance keeps the finish coherent from first read to close-up inspection.
