CURATOR'S NOTE

Doppler (Sapphire) gives the ★ Stiletto Knife a clear identity without needing every section to compete for attention. Its pearlescent colour flow is carried by Blue, then tempered by Black so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

DOMINANT PASSAGE

The blade face carry the strongest Blue passage in Doppler (Sapphire). On the ★ Stiletto Knife, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.

PATTERN CONTROL

Moving into the spine and cutting edge, Black interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Doppler (Sapphire) readable on the ★ Stiletto Knife.

MATERIAL DEPTH

At the handle and pommel, the exposed material and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this ★ Stiletto Knife, that role is specific to Doppler (Sapphire).
