CURATOR'S NOTE

Case Hardened changes the character of the ★ Talon Knife by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. The key is the tension between Blue and Gold: one attracts the eye, the other gives the hardened steel room to register. Because the visual weight is controlled, the finish remains easy to place inside a curated loadout.

VISUAL ANCHOR

Across the blade face, Case Hardened concentrates most of the Blue. This is where the heat-treated colour mottling reads most clearly and where the ★ Talon Knife gains its first visual anchor.

COLOUR TRANSITION

Moving into the spine and cutting edge, Gold interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Case Hardened readable on the ★ Talon Knife.

HARDWARE CONTRAST

The handle and pommel act as a visual release point: Brown and exposed material reduce the density of Case Hardened and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware. On this ★ Talon Knife, that role is specific to Case Hardened.
