CURATOR'S NOTE

Slaughter is strongest when you read it as a composition rather than a colour sample. Here, Red supplies the visual weight and Black gives the surface enough structure for the red-on-steel abstract pattern to stay legible. Because the visual weight is controlled, the finish remains easy to place inside a curated loadout.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
VISUAL ANCHOR
The blade face carry the strongest Red passage in Slaughter. On the ★ Talon Knife, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
COLOUR TRANSITION
Along the spine and cutting edge, Black creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Red mass without weakening the finish's overall identity. On this ★ Talon Knife, that role is specific to Slaughter.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
At the handle and pommel, the exposed material and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this ★ Talon Knife, that role is specific to Slaughter.
