CURATOR'S NOTE

The design language of Sand Storm can be summed up as windblown streaks of beige, brown and black moving irregularly across the rifle, but the execution is what gives it depth. The finish becomes more convincing once the surface is read as dusty abrasive paint, because the graphics and the object start to belong to the same world. In practice, that specificity is what makes the skin interesting to curate.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
STREAKED SAND PATTERN
Streaked sand pattern. This zone carries enough weight to define the finish without asking every other section to be equally loud.
WARM NEUTRAL LAYERS
Warm neutral layers. It gives the composition a specific texture at close range while preserving a simpler read in motion.
BLACK DEPTH POCKETS
Black depth pockets. Its placement is important: the AUG's geometry turns the feature into part of the silhouette rather than an isolated decal.
