CURATOR'S NOTE

What gives Heat Treated its character is the way colour-shifting surface treatment follows the geometry of the Five-SeveN. Black carries the first read, then Grey adds enough contrast to keep the silhouette precise. On the Five-SeveN, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

MAIN GESTURE

On the Five-SeveN, the slide carries most of the Black; in Heat Treated, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

QUIETER SUPPORT

Across the frame and controls, Heat Treated uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this Five-SeveN, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.

FINAL ACCENT

At the grip, Heat Treated becomes quieter. Blue and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Five-SeveN's functional geometry.
