CURATOR'S NOTE

The Executioner reads immediately because the palette is organised rather than scattered. Grey takes the visual lead; Black anchors it; Red supplies the smaller counterpoint that makes the finish memorable. On the G3SG1, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

LEAD COLOUR

On the G3SG1, the receiver carries most of the Grey; in The Executioner, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

PATTERN CONTROL

Across the scope and upper line, The Executioner uses Black to interrupt the main field. On this G3SG1, that break gives the industrial detailing enough rhythm to stay legible.

STRUCTURAL FINISH

At the stock and magazine, The Executioner becomes quieter. Red and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the G3SG1's functional geometry.
