CURATOR'S NOTE
What gives Shinobu its character is the way technical colour treatment follows the geometry of the Glock-18. Purple carries the first read, then Grey adds enough contrast to keep the silhouette precise. On the Glock-18, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

MAIN GESTURE
On the Glock-18, the slide carries most of the Purple; in Shinobu, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
QUIETER SUPPORT
Across the frame and controls, Shinobu uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this Glock-18, that break gives the technical colour treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
FINAL ACCENT
At the grip, Shinobu becomes quieter. Blue and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Glock-18's functional geometry.
