CURATOR'S NOTE
Nightmare changes the character of the M4A1-S by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. The Blue passages establish the first read, while Black controls the separation between sections; the dark tonal blocking provides the identity. The result feels quiet and controlled: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
SURFACE FOCUS
Across the receiver and handguard, Nightmare concentrates most of the Blue. This is where the dark tonal blocking reads most clearly and where the M4A1-S gains its first visual anchor.
STRUCTURAL BREAK
Along the stock and magazine, Black creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Blue mass without weakening the finish's overall identity. On this M4A1-S, that role is specific to Nightmare.
FINAL ACCENT
Near the suppressor and exposed hardware, the finish steps back. Teal becomes the final accent, allowing the M4A1-S's physical construction to close the composition.
