CURATOR'S NOTE

Zubastick gives the M4A4 a clear identity without needing every section to compete for attention. The key is the tension between Grey and Black: one attracts the eye, the other gives the painted and material contrast room to register. Because the visual weight is controlled, the finish remains easy to place inside a curated loadout.

COLOUR MASS

Across the receiver and handguard, Zubastick concentrates most of the Grey. This is where the surface-specific graphic treatment reads most clearly and where the M4A4 gains its first visual anchor.

SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS

Along the stock and magazine, Black creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Grey mass without weakening the finish's overall identity.

SILHOUETTE EDGE

Near the barrel assembly and exposed hardware, the finish steps back. Brown becomes the final accent, allowing the M4A4's physical construction to close the composition. On this M4A4, that role is specific to Zubastick.
