CURATOR'S NOTE
The appeal of Stalker comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the MAC-10. The key is the tension between Black and Yellow: one attracts the eye, the other gives the painted and material contrast room to register. The result feels balanced and deliberate: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
The upper receiver and body carry the strongest Black passage in Stalker. On the MAC-10, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Moving into the grip and magazine, Yellow interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Stalker readable on the MAC-10.
MATERIAL BREAK
At the wire stock and front assembly, Brown and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this MAC-10, that role is specific to Stalker.
