CURATOR'S NOTE
Cobalt Core changes the character of the MAG-7 by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. The Blue passages establish the first read, while Teal controls the separation between sections; the surface-specific graphic treatment provides the identity. The result feels balanced and deliberate: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
The receiver shell carry the strongest Blue passage in Cobalt Core. On the MAG-7, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Along the fore-end and grip, Teal creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Blue mass without weakening the finish's overall identity.
MATERIAL BREAK
At the barrel, rail and rear hardware, Black and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them.
