CURATOR'S NOTE
On the MAG-7, Popdog works through hierarchy: one visual idea leads, the rest supports it. Here, Black supplies the visual weight and Brown gives the surface enough structure for the surface-specific graphic treatment to stay legible. The result feels balanced and deliberate: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.

SURFACE FOCUS
The receiver shell carry the strongest Black passage in Popdog. On the MAG-7, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
STRUCTURAL BREAK
Along the fore-end and grip, Brown creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Black mass without weakening the finish's overall identity. On this MAG-7, that role is specific to Popdog.
FINAL ACCENT
Near the barrel, rail and rear hardware, the finish steps back. Beige becomes the final accent, allowing the MAG-7's physical construction to close the composition. On this MAG-7, that role is specific to Popdog.
