CURATOR'S NOTE
The appeal of Rust Coat comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the MAG-7. Rather than spreading every colour evenly, the finish lets Brown dominate and uses Orange to articulate the MAG-7's major breaks. Because the visual weight is controlled, the finish remains easy to place inside a curated loadout.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
The receiver shell carry the strongest Brown passage in Rust Coat. On the MAG-7, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Along the fore-end and grip, Orange creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Brown mass without weakening the finish's overall identity.
MATERIAL BREAK
The barrel, rail and rear hardware act as a visual release point: Grey and exposed material reduce the density of Rust Coat and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
