CURATOR'S NOTE
On the MAG-7, Sonar works through hierarchy: one visual idea leads, the rest supports it. Rather than spreading every colour evenly, the finish lets Black dominate and uses Teal to articulate the MAG-7's major breaks. The result feels balanced and deliberate: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.

VISUAL ANCHOR
The receiver shell carry the strongest Black passage in Sonar. On the MAG-7, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
COLOUR TRANSITION
Moving into the fore-end and grip, Teal interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Sonar readable on the MAG-7.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
Near the barrel, rail and rear hardware, the finish steps back. Beige becomes the final accent, allowing the MAG-7's physical construction to close the composition. On this MAG-7, that role is specific to Sonar.
