CURATOR'S NOTE
On the MP7, Base-2 works through hierarchy: one visual idea leads, the rest supports it. Its surface-specific graphic treatment is carried by Black, then tempered by Beige so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. The result feels balanced and deliberate: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
The receiver body carry the strongest Black passage in Base-2. On the MP7, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Moving into the foregrip and magazine, Beige interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Base-2 readable on the MP7.
MATERIAL BREAK
At the stock, barrel and controls, Grey and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this MP7, that role is specific to Base-2.
