Broken Record is strongest when read as a composition rather than a colour sample. Forest carries the first read, while Black gives the surface its structure. The result is a graphic surface treatment that feels intentional on this silhouette rather than pasted across it.

PRIMARY READ
Across the front assembly, Forest establishes the strongest read of Broken Record. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the MP9 gains its visual anchor.
STRUCTURAL BREAK
The central body introduces Black as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Forest, it separates forms and gives Broken Record a clearer rhythm on the MP9.
FINAL ACCENT
At the rear section, the exposed material acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Broken Record from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
