CURATOR'S NOTE

What gives Buff Blue its character is the way the finish changes the proportions of the MP9. Blue carries the first read, while White gives the surface its structure. The result is a graphic surface treatment that feels intentional on this silhouette rather than pasted across it.

VISUAL ANCHOR

Across the front assembly, Blue establishes the strongest read of Buff Blue. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the MP9 gains its visual anchor.

SECONDARY LAYER

The central body introduces White as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Blue, it separates forms and gives Buff Blue a clearer rhythm on the MP9.

EDGE DETAIL

At the rear section, the exposed material acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Buff Blue from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
