CURATOR'S NOTE

Setting Sun does not need every panel to shout; its identity comes from controlled distribution. The composition is anchored by Orange, then broken by Red; that contrast gives the graphic surface treatment enough depth to stay readable without becoming noisy.

SURFACE FOCUS

Across the front assembly, Orange establishes the strongest read of Setting Sun. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the MP9 gains its visual anchor.

PATTERN CONTROL

The central body introduces Red as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Orange, it separates forms and gives Setting Sun a clearer rhythm on the MP9.

QUIET ZONE

At the rear section, Black acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Setting Sun from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
