CURATOR'S NOTE

The strength of Royal Baroque comes from restraint as much as colour. Blue establishes the identity, while Gold and Yellow control the edges and negative space. On the P2000, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
LEAD COLOUR
On the P2000, the slide carries most of the Blue; in Royal Baroque, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
PATTERN CONTROL
Across the frame and controls, Royal Baroque uses Gold to interrupt the main field. On this P2000, that break gives the illustrative artwork enough rhythm to stay legible.
STRUCTURAL FINISH
At the grip, Royal Baroque becomes quieter. Yellow and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the P2000's functional geometry.
