CURATOR'S NOTE
Rather than treating the P2000 as one continuous canvas, Space Race uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Black feels intentional, supported by Grey and Orange. On the P2000, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

LEAD COLOUR
On the P2000, the slide carries most of the Black; in Space Race, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
PATTERN CONTROL
Across the frame and controls, Space Race uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this P2000, that break gives the technical colour treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
STRUCTURAL FINISH
At the grip, Space Race becomes quieter. Orange and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the P2000's functional geometry.
