CURATOR'S NOTE

There is a useful tension in Clay Ambush: the finish feels immediate from a distance, yet more deliberate up close. The composition is anchored by Beige, then broken by Brown; that contrast gives the graphic surface treatment enough depth to stay readable without becoming noisy.

FIRST IMPRESSION

Across the front assembly, Beige establishes the strongest read of Clay Ambush. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the Sawed-Off gains its visual anchor.

MATERIAL SHIFT

The central body introduces Brown as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Beige, it separates forms and gives Clay Ambush a clearer rhythm on the Sawed-Off.

SILHOUETTE RELEASE

At the rear section, Black acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Clay Ambush from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
