CURATOR'S NOTE
What gives Grotto its character is the way the finish changes the proportions of the SCAR-20. Most of the visual weight sits in Black, with Forest acting as the counterpoint. That balance is what makes the graphic surface treatment feel specific to this version of the SCAR-20.

VISUAL ANCHOR
Across the front assembly, Black establishes the strongest read of Grotto. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the SCAR-20 gains its visual anchor.
SECONDARY LAYER
The central body introduces Forest as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Black, it separates forms and gives Grotto a clearer rhythm on the SCAR-20.
EDGE DETAIL
At the rear section, Grey acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Grotto from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
